One Flint and Steel firesteel fire striker with a small English flint rock that will be at least 2" in length (or longer). Includes some extra materials such as a piece of quality char cloth, some terrific jute twine, and some birch (burns when damp). I include this so one may have a greater experience making a camp fire the primitive way. Ships in a reusable thick 4 ply ziplock clear plastic bag.

One may not be able to sharpen the flint with the striker as shown in the short video located on the main page. This is because the gap where the ends meet is too small compared to the steel striker in the complete sets but this steel still makes great sparks. One can sharpen this flint with an elongated oval river rock, small tack hammer, antler, or copper billet while having it resting on a surface so it limits the chipping.
